NOTE: Site traffic/server problem adjusted with hosting company -- so you should be able to get on during peak traffic times. A switch was configured wrong.

It's 6:30 a.m. and I'm up. It's still dark and way cold. Last night
the storm's howling winds, so loud they frightened the cats (and me), swirled about the apartments. At times I thought the winds were going to shatter the windows -- it was that bad. The high-velocity storm winds as predicted by the weather forecasters came to bear, but NO SNOW. It was and EVIL SOUND -- like a DEMONIC GROWL at times -- as the land was blown hard in the dead of night. I recorded the sound which I will work on uploading today. All three cats huddled next to me on my bed in the dark with their skulls pointed at the sliding glass door. It kept me awake, despite taking a knock-out pill to sleep. As I said, it is now 6:30 a.m. and Mother Nature's onslaught has subsided, mercifully. I'm certain there were all kinds of accidents and destruction caused by the force of the wind. It was like a hurricane. I bet the velocity was way over the predicted 85-mph prediction. Had to be to be that loud. As I lay in the darkness I heard the wind battering things around outside. I wondered if some sort of flying object would crash into my window. Quite a frightening night. It's still early in the day for damage reports -- but they will most certainly come later on.
It looks like my steady diet of whole grain wheat bread works to lower triglycerides and diabetes, according to
this article. I've also been sprinkling a tablespoon of wheat germ on my shredded wheat cereal doused with 2% milk. The weight is coming off, but SLOWLY, as my body rebels against the diet. I haven't eaten ANY red meat since I got the diabetes scare -- just white chicken meat, fish and soup, along with vegetables. I feel lighter, but I still LOOK fat. I can see this is going to take quite some time to seriously pull off.
WEBSITE FRONT PAGE CHANGES FOR UPCOMING HOLIDAY SEASON
I've got some serious fixing work to do on the site today -- at times it may go down. The front page will be slightly fucked up while I adjust it. From now on it will bear headlines, to get more links on the front page (50) and to speed up page load for slower connections. Also to make room for the special upcoming holiday section featuring holiday related stories and STRANGE gift ideas (heh-heh). Just click on the post title for the goods. You can also bookmark the posts to Twitter, Reddit and others with a little bookmark button, which helps my website get more hits.
There won't be new links added until tomorrow morning after I've finished the make-over.
THERE'S LOTS MORE IN THE FOLLOWING PAGES!
